Who am I?

Born and bred in the Wairarapa, I graduated with honors in design from Massey University in 2012. After starting my career in advertising and media, I co-founded A+M Creative, which quickly became well-known in the region. Later, I spent several years abroad before returning to New Zealand and starting my own brand, Ash Studio.

My creative talent and expertise have allowed me to work with a range of businesses, from local establishments such as Aperitif, Stitch, and Holmes Construction to more distant ones such as Kawau Kitchen in Auckland, Sadara in Nusa-Dua, Bali, and Everyday Eatery in California. You can view many examples of my branding work on my growing portfolio page, which includes not only graphic design but also web design and social media management.

At Ash Studio, I offer comprehensive branding solutions for businesses seeking to stand out in their industry. Whether you're looking to update an existing brand or launch a new business, don't hesitate to get in touch

Our Services

  • Brand and Identity Design

Brand and identity design involves developing a visual and sensory representation of a business's brand. As a brand and identity designer, my role is to work closely with clients to understand their brand values and personality, and to create a visual identity that communicates these values to their target audience. This process involves developing a clear brand strategy, which outlines the key elements of the brand and how they will be communicated visually. I will then create a range of design elements such as logos, color schemes, typography, imagery, and messaging that are unique, memorable, and consistent across all marketing channels. By creating a strong and recognizable brand identity, businesses can differentiate themselves from their competitors, build customer loyalty, and ultimately drive growth and success. As a brand and identity designer, your expertise in this area can be a valuable asset to businesses looking to establish a strong brand presence in their industry.

  • Graphic Design

Graphic design is an important aspect of brand collateral, which includes all the visual elements used to promote my brand. This can include everything from business cards, letterheads, and brochures to websites, social media posts, and advertisements. As a graphic designer, my role is to create these visual assets in a way that reflects my brand's values, personality, and positioning. This involves working closely with clients to understand their brand strategy, and then using design elements such as color, typography, imagery, and layout to create a cohesive and visually appealing brand collateral. Effective graphic design can help to establish a strong and memorable brand identity, differentiate my brand from its competitors, and communicate my brand's values and personality to its target audience. By creating high-quality brand collateral that accurately represents my business, I can help to build customer trust and loyalty, and ultimately drive business success.
